Asia Art Show is a three-day event held with the National Day celebration in mind. The theme song for the Asia Art Show 2022 is Standing In The Eyes Of The World. The song arrangement will be done by the composer Prof. Dato Wah Idris.
This will be the first high-profile art showcase event in Malaysia. Asia Art Show aims to be the an art showcase of change. In reality, there is a stigma among the society that the art industry does not guarantee a stable and probable future.

According to Hazrita Mohd Hatta, the Founder of Asia Art Show and , visual art is usually considered a minority industry and the stigma that comes with it is that it does not guarantee a stable and probable future. We have a great number of talented artists in Asia but only 10 percent of them eventually make a living from selling their artworks.
How to inspire young/uprising artists?
The answer is to start with the Malaysian market. There are two platforms available which are the Art Market for new young artists and Asia Art Show for those who have been in industry for few years.
Instead of just focusing on Malaysia, Asia Art Show targets to bring together talented artists across the continent. This event will be featuring artists from Malaysia, Indonesia, India, Korea, Germany and many more. Asia Art Show would also like to gather Asian Conglomerates in support of the Asian art industry especially Malaysia and neighbouring countries. This event is an amazing platform for all talented artists to showcase their artworks.
The three-day event
For the first day, it will be Charity Dinner taking place on Friday, 26th of August 2022. The Prime Minister Dato Seri Ismail Sabri has been invited to officiate the Charity Dinner. This program includes Special Needs Artists from their respected CSR allies, Bangi Industrial Recovery Training Center. These unique artists consist of those with various diseases such as autism, bipolar disorders, physical deficiencies, cancer and also stroke patients. Moreover, there will also be a special auction for 20 pieces from these talented artists. A portion of the proceeds will be channeled to selected NGOs.
Asia Art Show will invite over 1000 potential buyers on the second day of the event. They aiming to sell at least 200 artworks. To me, an artist is not paid just for his labor but for his vision.
For the final day of the event which will be on 28th of August 2022, it will be open for the public. The best thing about art exhibition in Malaysia is that they offer FREE ENTRY in order to encourage more people to embrace the uniqueness of the various expressions of art. I have seen a high volume of people visiting art exhibitions post-covid, I hope you guys are so excited to visit this one!
Other than that, Asia Art Show has managed to gauge the interest of a big Fintech specialist company to sponsor the building of our very own e-commerce website which will be officially launched on the 26th of August 2022.
In the spirit of change, I hope this event will be a success and will be conducted yearly as planned.
